Stefan Huber, prof. dr., is head of the Institute for Empirical Research on Religion at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Bern. He conducts research on religiosity and spirituality using both quantitative instruments, e.g. the “Centrality of Religiosity Scale” (CRS) and the “Structure of Religiosity Test” (SRT), as well as qualitative methods, e.g. the Repertory Grid Technique. The focus of his research is on high religiosity, religious pluralism, religious fundamentalism, secular spirituality, and theologically qualifiable contents of personal religious and spiritual worlds of faith. He takes an interdisciplinary approach and addresses psychological, sociological and empirical-theological questions.
